I've done quite a bit of work for David Albright and the Institute for Science and International Security, whose primary focus in their words is "...stopping the spread of nuclear weapons and related technology to additional nations and to terrorists, bringing about greater transparency of nuclear activities worldwide, strengthening the international non-proliferation regime, and achieving deep cuts in nuclear arsenals." While previous covers I've created for them tended to be more conceptual, this particular one required me to use actual satellite and other investigative imagery on the cover, which out of context is not entirely compelling, but it's serious journalism, so my goal was to make something engaging and hint at the interior with only the back cover text to really explain what the book is about. This is one of those clients who I really feel honored to be a part of, as the subject matter continues to be critical issue that continues to haunt global affairs.
